Terms & Conditions ‘escapologist’
1. Pricing of products on this site may be subject to change without prior notice
2. J&A Investments Limited reserves the right to:
i/ Correct typographical and printing errors:
ii/ Correct prices or calculation errors
iii/ Not knowingly proceed with any order that it feels may put the company, the recipient, or any other party in a vulnerable position either financially or for any other justifiable reason. In such instance we will contact the person placing the order to notify them of the cancellation, proving a viable contact e-mail address has been given
iv/ Investigate and withhold an order if it has knowledge or believes the order details to be fraudulent or erroneous
3. Where an incomplete or insufficient delivery address has been provided, and the goods have been returned to us, J&A Investments Limited reserves the right to charge for re-delivery of the purchased items
4. J&A Investments Limited reserves the right to cancel an order, or consider the order completed under certain circumstances. It also reserves the right to not fully or partly refund the customer where non-delivery or incorrect delivery has resulted from circumstances outside of its control, or if the recipient does not / refuses to accept the order; or is deliberately and constantly unavailable to accept an order
5. After placing an order, you are entitled to a 14-day money back guarantee, less shipping / delivery costs. Orders that are found to have been tampered with, modified, damaged or are incomplete, will not qualify for a product refund
6. Shipping / delivery charges are not refundable. Refunds are determined based upon the amount of the returned item(s) and condition on arrival. J&A Investments reserves the right to decide if a ‘return’ is valid or invalid and will notify the respective party or person accordingly
7. J&A Investments Limited is unable to accept responsibility for any lost or stolen goods that are not returned via the appropriate tracking means (i.e. Recorded, Registered or Special Delivery). It is also understood that purchasers / recipients who choose to return goods via a more expensive route shall do so at their own prerogative
8. Purchases are advised to allow up to 28 days for delivery to all listed UK addresses. In the unlikely event this nothing is received within this timeframe, the purchaser must advise the escapologist sales support staff immediately
9. Information appertaining to the manufacturing, promotion, sales and design of the escapologist is not authorised to be reproduced in any shape or form without prior consent from J&A Investments Limited
10. Safety information provided with the escapologist, or its accessories, is given as a guide only and does not constitute as a legal guarantee or binding assurance
11. Whilst the escapologist has been designed to decrease the risk of being tramped by a house-fire, users are required to take sensible measures when installing (affixing), maintaining and advising other occupants of how to use the product. J&A Investments Limited advises users to have the box installed by a professionally qualified builder or craftsman
12. For your safety, escapologists, or its accessories, that have been involved in a house fire should not be used again and disposed of through the appropriate means
